Avondlicht (2014)

I was around eighteen years old, not yet studying photography. During this period I created my first photographic series — Avondlicht — portraying my friends nude in their homes, bathed in the magical light of the night.

These intimate portraits were juxtaposed with mysterious and dreamlike landscapes, speaking of vulnerability and wonder.
